One Life. One Dream. One Reality: New podcast coming soon, subscribe now
Bay City Rollers’ legend Nobby Clark is first guest on brand new celebrity podcast
Substack is the future. I realised that shortly after moving on from main stream media. It’s liberating, a place where I can share the content I enjoy writing with readers who choose and want to read it.
That you subscribe to my irregular ‘Liam’s Newsletter’ means a lot to me and, whether it’s features, reviews or opinion pieces, they will always be free to read.
However, I also have to make a living, which is why I’m launching ‘One Life. One Dream. One Reality’, my new monthly podcast in which I’ll be chatting with extraordinary yet ordinary celebrities, or should that be ordinary yet extraordinary well kent faces.
If there’s one thing I’ve learned it’s that everyone is extraordinary. Everyone has an amazing story to tell. Some just don’t realise it but we all have unique experiences in our lives that could well take friends or even family members by surprise.
‘One Life. One Dream. One Reality’ was born out of a throw away remark by a high profile celebrity who admitted to me that, at the end of a long day, their idea of heaven was locking their front door, kicking off their shoes and settling down to watch Emmerdale with a cup of tea and chocolate biscuit.
Something so ordinary, miles removed from the perceived glamour of a celebrity lifestyle. In my new podcast, well known faces from all walks of life chat about their lives, their dreams and the reality of achieving those dreams - a reality often far away from the red carpet, glitz and glitter.
Produced by my long term collaborator Erik Grieve for Líam Rudden Media, ‘One Life. One Dream. One Reality’ will initially be exclusively available on Substack via a separate paid subscription of £5 a month (one podcast) or £50 a year (12 podcasts).
If you find I’ve interviewed a subject who interests you, please consider subscribing to listen. In the first podcast, original Bay City Rollers’ frontman Nobby Clark recalls leaving the band just as they went stratospheric and what happened next. It’s a powerful, bittersweet and at times disturbing tale and will be live very soon.
