Daredevil comedian Jordan Conway skydives from 15,000ft as Peter Pan.
On Monday 2 October, 25-year-old Jordan Conway proved that World’s Biggest Panto has the world’s highest flying Peter Pan, skydiving from 15,000ft dressed as the leader of the Lost Boys.
Under the supervision of Lancaster’s acclaimed Black Knights Parachute Team, the daredevil comedian jumped from 15,000 feet with a free-fall drop of a full minute’s duration before pulling the cord and ‘floating down in search of Neverland Island, ready to do battle with Captain Hook in the spectacular national arena tour of Peter Pan this Christmas’.
The jump took place at the Black Knights Parachute Centre, Hillam Lane, Cockerham, Lancashire, LA2 0DY.
THE STORY SO FAR
The Daredevil comedian got the idea for the jump when he tried a 3,000ft jump on holiday in Australia, but this is a dizzying 15,000ft drop. He arrives ready for the jump fresh from training at the Hungarian State Circus school where he has been learning to fly on an aerial strap like the Cirque du Soleil stars to further prove, he is the only Peter Pan who can fly without wires.
Jordan, who is not a regular stuntman, says, “I’ve just been playing Charlie Chaplin in the West End and researched the amazing stunts the silent movie stars did and decided to make my Peter Pan different to anything that has gone before making him a real high flying funny crazy comedy character, as you would expect in the World’s Biggest Panto.“
